We all have some myths associated with the things in life. Lingerie is no exception. Call it amusing or tragic, the largest numbers of myths we hear in life are associated with women only. The way women dress, eat, sleep and specially have sex has long been attributed to a lot of irrational and impractical reasons. There have been some lingerie myths too. We have discussed some of them in this article.
A lot of women believe that white inner pants should be worn when they are wearing summer white pants and skirts. But the truth is that crisp white inner pants under a stark white pant or skirt will display your inner wear more brightly. It would look more profound. So it is best to wear underwear of beige, nude or skin colored tones if you really don’t want to attract attention to that part of your body.

Another lingerie myth is that the brassieres that are uncomfortable at the back are actually too small. This is a myth. Because when a bra is too big, it causes the front to loosen and therefore the cups are not in a supportive position any more. The bra is dragged down in the front due to the weight of the breasts and therefore the back of the bra is pushed up. If the bra was small it would have held the breasts in position.
A lot of women are not aware of the kind of bra they should wear during exercise. One lingerie myth is that you can wear any kind of bra while doing exercises. But the truth is that there are special kinds of bras called sports bras for this purpose. While running doing aerobics or jogging you should wear sports bras as it will restrict the movement of your breasts and prevent breast pain which results from wearing the wrong bra during exercise.
